To Portfolio or Not to Portfolio
It’s hard to answer questions about what makes a good portfolio pic. Personally speaking I think the more original and artistic the better, but some say agents prefer uniformity…and let’s face it BlueFlair is just NOT about maintaining the status quo. We take everything we do and pump the power up on it! That’s not to say that everything we do is extreme, it’s just we can’t stand the “canned” photos offered by so many chain studios. Whether those chains are for standard portraits or they are who “everyone” goes to for modeling or acting portfolios, assembly-line photography is just NOT for us!
So in celebration of POWER portfolios we’re showing off some favorites from a session with my very talented brother… Jonny!
Jonny was wanting to update his portfolio, and he let us take a liberal amount of creative freedom with him! Thanks for being such a great sport, Jonny!!

I’m loving 3, 6, texture effect in 10 and the headshot in 12…the eyes are just dreamy!! Fabulous job!!! Now, I’ve gotta go put ice in my coffee!!!

Stefanie, wow, these are all great! You also have a great subject, he’s a doll. 6 and 10 are great portfolio shots, but love 10 and 11 for artistic value. Joy
